WIC Valve PCV Series composite air speed control valve connector one touch quick release push in to connect fitting equipped with a convenient one touch release button that provides a easy and quick tubing connections with no special tools required.  PCV Series speed controller fitting can be completely rotate of the valve body around the bolt for a desirable tubing direction.  Our unique stainless collect design offers a secure connections that hold the tube firmly without restricting flow. Yet the special adjustment needle design provides a high precision air flow adjustment.  The strong nickel-plated brass threaded bodies ensure anti-corrosion.  Threaded fittings come with pre-coated Telfon sealant for quick installation with no additional sealing needed.

What is the different between NPT, BSPT, and BSPP?

NPT Connections

NPT (National Pipe Thread) seals are the most popular type of seal in the U.S. and Canada. NPT male adapters have a taper thread that wedges into the female NPT adapter. The angle across the flanks of threads is 60 degrees.

BSPT (British Standard Pipe Thread) are popular type of seal in China and Japan. It is not commonly used in North America. BSPY is similar to NPT except the angle across the flanks of threads is 55 degrees instead of the 60 degrees in NPT.

BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe) is commonly used in the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. It is a parallel thread fitting that uses a seal ring for sealing. The seal ring is placed in-between a shoulder on the male fitting and the face of the female fitting and is squeezed in place.

Fitting Installation and Removal Guide:

To install the tubing into fitting

1) Cut the tubing square ensure the outside diameter is free of score marks and no burrs.

2) Simply push tubing past the O-ring to the internal tube dead stop by hand.

3) Pull the tubing back gently to ensure it is secure for leakproof connections.

To remove the tubing from fitting

1) Press evenly on both sides of the release button against fitting body, keep the release button (collet) depressed and held in this position

2) Pull the tubing to slide out.
