WIC Valve 2ACK Series 2-way normally closed electric solenoid valve is to control On/Off of air and inert gas. This direct acting electric solenoid valve has one 1/4″ inch NPT inlet and one 1/4″ inch NPT outlet port. Valve stays close when the coil is de-energized, and it opens when energized. This compact fast response valve has two M4 size convenient mountiing holes on the valve bottom for easy installation.  2ACK series valve can be mounted in any position.  2ACK series electric solenoid valve comes with a ED 100% encapsulated coil which suitable to operate in continuous service and constantly energized.  2ACK Series is a zero differential solenoid valve which can be operated at 0 PSI (Vacuum), no minimum pressure is required.

What is the advantages to use DIN Connector?

Instead of using the Grommet lead wires, the coil has the prongs or pins to connect a standard DIN connector. Therefore, the coil will have a male connection and the plug connecting to the coil is a female connector.  The advantages of the DIN Connector is that it allows a quick valve or coil exchange. Yet it is a excellent insulation properties and good for water tightness.

 

How to Rotate DIN Plastic Connector?

Shown below is the 4 easy steps to rotate the DIN plastic housing:

1. Remove the Philip screw from the DIN plastic housing protector.

2. Unplug the plastic housing from the DIN coil.

3. Remove the terminal block from the plastic housing.  Use the Philip screw to push the terminal block out from the plastic housing.

4. Rotate the DIN plastic housing to 180 degree, then plug into the terminal block and put the Philip screw back.

5. Finish DIN plastic housing rotation.

What is IP65 Protection Class Mean?

Ingress Protection (IP) ratings are developed by the European Committee for Electro Technical Standardization (CENELEC) (NEMA IEC 60529 Degrees of Protection Provided by Enclosures – IP Code), specifying the environmental protection the enclosure provides.
